Mr Flint is a qualified accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has been involved in the resources sector for the past 30 years as a director or company secretary of Australian and Toronto Stock Exchange-listed companies with mineral projects in Australia, Africa, and Asia.

He has significant experience in managing publicly listed companies exploring and developing mineral projects in francophone Africa, including the DRC and Cote d’Ivoire. Mr Flint is also Chairman of ASX-listed Desert Metals Limited.
